Thanks to Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska it appears President Barack Hussein Obama’s X-mass (it can’t be Christmas – he’s a Leftist) wish list will be made possible. Reformed Healthcare the Democratic Party way seems to be a go. If you have health problems and can’t afford insurance – move to Nebraska.
The Washington Post and Politico disseminate summary details.

Mark Alexander of the Patriot Post has written an essay entitled, “The Time Has Come.”
Alexander eruditely castigates President Barack Hussein Obama’s Marxism with some side shots at the Leftist controlled Democratic Party. He notes that BHO’s Healthcare Reform efforts via the Dems are amounting to socialism. Then Alexander praises America’s electorate for its seeming awakening from a blind sleep concerning BHO’s schmoozing of American voters in 2008.

Is President Barack Hussein Obama withholding conclusions of an investigation of the Ft. Hood Massacre and Maj. Nidal Hasan the Muslim-American who perpetrated the massacre in the name of Allah?
Bob Unruh writes about this questioning that is publically arising from Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) of the House Intelligence Committee.

I continue to be amazed about the blindness of the EU nations and most Leftists in general concerning Israel and the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. This amazement stretches to America as well because both Republican and Democratic Party Presidential Administrations have been hell bent into forcing Israel into giving up part of their heritage to this group of pseudo-Palestinians.
Here I need to stop and point out the reason for the prefix “pseudo.” I use the prefix because the term Palestine and Palestinian as referenced to the Arabs living in the Holy Land has absolutely no relationship to the history of that word. The word Palestine is derived from a word constructed by conquering Romans of the Jewish land. The Romans gave the boot to most Jews from their homeland after years of putting down revolts against their rule. After the boot came the plan was to give a new name to the area. The name new was based on the Jewish people’s hereditary enemy whom they defeated completely called the Philistines. The Jewish land was designated as Philistia after these enemies of the Jews. The West eventually anglicized the word Philistia to Palestine. By the time of the British Mandate for Palestine, the inhabitants of Palestine were thought to be Jews preparing for a national homeland and not Arabs. The Arabs that call themselves Palestinians have absolutely no heritage to the Holy Land except as conquerors in 634 AD (give or take a few years mingled with Persian incursions).
The hubris of Muslim Arabs has led the West to believe that the descendants of those who fled Israel prior to the Arab invasions of 1948 should be restored to land they deserted to avoid what was thought to be a coming carnage of Jewish lives in the Holy Land.
In spite of all this documented information Palestinian propaganda has convinced the powers that be in the West that these particular Arabs are victims rather than Supremacists dedicated to the destruction of Israel and all things Jewish. Europe’s history of anti-Semitism has blinded them to Palestinian/Arab intent and Muslim Supremacy. The tenets of Islamic Supremacism are the very hate-racism that Palestinian-Arabs utilize to stir up the Arab created refugees of Judea-Samaria and Gaza.
The Islamic oriented thug terrorists that the West has validated as political elites among the residents of Judea-Samaria and Gaza have worked over a half century planting hatred of Jews into the collective consciousness of Arabs called Palestinians via education, media and Mosques. Hate is such a large part of the Arab consciousness that most believe the lies as factual truth.
Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook have written an article exposing Arab anti-Semitism and hatred of Jews that is so pervasive among the pseudo-Palestinians. As you read the article entitled “Beyond mere hatred” those that have not calloused their conscience through Palestinian propaganda should wonder why Leftists in general, EU and America is so bent on creating a sovereign nation of racist hatred whose sole reason for existing is to bring about a Holocaust that will make Hitler’s infamous Holocaust look like a tea party.

Fort Benning Airborne soldier awarded Silver Star
Staff Sgt. Justin D. Grimm honored for action in 2008 Afghan battle
Staff Sgt. Justin D. Grimm was awarded the Silver Star — the nation’s third highest military decoration behind the Medal of Honor and the Distinguished Service Cross — in a ceremony held Monday on Fort Benning.
Grimm earned the Silver Star for his actions during the July 13, 2008, battle of Wanat in Afghanistan while assigned to Chosen Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment (Airborne), 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Vincenza, Italy.
Two of Grimm’s fellow staff sergeants each received a Bronze Star.
“To get an award is great,” Grimm said following the ceremony, “but a lot of these tough fights, anybody out there — everybody out there — deserves a valor award. It’s just certain members get recognized. So, I don’t know the best way to describe it. It’s humbling.”
On the morning of July 13, as Chosen Company was preparing to leave Afghanistan after a 15-month tour of duty, their vehicle patrol base was attacked by about 200 insurgents. The battle lasted for hours. In the end, more than 50 insurgents were killed and nine American lives were lost. Twenty seven more Americans were wounded in action.
Grimm was serving as a squad leader when the insurgents struck.
“He immediately ran forward in order to prevent the enemy from overrunning one of the outposts,” his award citation says. “He manned a Squad Automatic Weapon in order to suppress the enemy and bring relief to the beleaguered defenders, and on numerous occasions left his covered position to render first aid to wounded soldiers and help move them to safety. Despite the heavy volume of accurate enemy fire impacting all around his position and forcing him to take cover, he refused to abandon his post, detonating a mine and lobbing grenades into the enemy ranks, thwarting their advance and forcing them to retreat.”
Staff Sgt. Clifton M. Anderson Jr. and Staff Sgt. Michael J. Lawrence, also assigned to Chosen Company, each received a Bronze Star with “V” Device for their actions during a separate battle in the Chowkay Valley on June 23, 2008.
“I’ve got to give it to my soldiers, basically,” Lawrence said of his honor. “The soldiers that served with me while I was there and fought right alongside with me. They deserve it just as much as I do.”
An Army Commendation Medal with “V” Device was given to senior line medic Staff Sgt. Zachari A. Rushing for his actions following a catastrophic improvised explosive device strike in 2007 in Charbaran District, Afghanistan. Rushing was assigned to D Company, 1st Battalion (Airborne), 503rd Infantry Regiment.
Grimm, Anderson, Lawrence and Rushing are all currently assigned to units on Fort Benning.
Here is a Leftist conspiracy that is the next step in establishing a world government of a new world order.

The Secret Plan to Pass a Global Tax
By Cliff Kincaid
December 14, 2009
With President Barack Obama attacking "fat cat bankers on Wall Street," left-wing non-governmental organizations (NGOs) see a great opportunity to pass a global tax on financial transactions that could generate at least $700 billion a year from the U.S. and other "rich" countries. They are expecting Obama's support.
The banks are a key target because of the "anger" that already exists against them for their roles in the global financial crisis, says a detailed 13-page memorandum from Max Lawson of the foreign aid group Oxfam.
Calling the global Financial Transactions Tax (FTT) "an idea whose time has come," Lawson says in his memorandum that "politically the time is now" to pass such a tax. "It will take some great campaigning but I think we can do this," he says in a message introducing the memo.
Lawson explains, "The global anger against the bankers; the huge pressure on rich country budgets; the need for money in 2010 to rescue the MDGs [Millennium Development Goals] and from failure; to protect poor countries from the economic crisis; and the need to come up with money for climate change to unlock a global deal. All combine to make a very strong political backdrop."
The MDGs were established by the United Nations to make sure that the U.S. and other Western nations devote 0.7 percent of Gross National Product to official development assistance or foreign aid. As a Senator, Obama had introduced a bill, the Global Poverty Act, to mandate U.S. compliance with the MDGs at an estimated cost of $845 billion.
Lawson, head of development and finance for Oxfam in Britain, has distributed his 13-page memorandum to members of NGOs in the U.S. and other countries. "There is potentially plenty of money here for all of our issues," he tells them.
The global tax is being called "the Robin Hood tax," in order to convince people that it is somehow designed to take money away from rich people in order to help the poor. Another variation on this theme is the claim that the tax is aimed at Wall Street to help Main Street.
In reality, such a tax would affect IRAs, Mutual Funds and pensions by taxing the exchange of financial transactions. It would hand over great sums of money to politicians in the name of bashing the big banks but ordinary Americans and their life savings would be hurt.
As outlined by Lawson, however, the idea is to create the appearance of public support for the plan, ultimately enabling G8 leaders meeting in Canada in June to agree to the global tax and then get acceptance from the G20 leaders meeting afterward.
At the same time, the U.S. Congress is moving ahead with the "Let Wall Street Pay for the Restoration of Main Street Act of 2009" (HR 4191), a financial transactions tax introduced by Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.), a leading member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
Lawson's document cites support for the tax from Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who endorsed the DeFazio measure during a December 7 news conference and, according to a CNS News report, announced that the bill would have to be made "global" to keep U.S. investors from taking their business overseas and out of taxable reach.
Senator Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) is introducing a similar bill, which has the backing of the AFL-CIO, in the Senate.
An "Open Letter from Economists in Support of Financial Transaction Taxes" has been released and signed by 200 liberal and left-wing economists.
Lawson also cites support for the tax from billionaires George Soros and Warren Buffet and such media organizations and figures as Le Monde, The Mail, The Guardian and Paul Krugman of the New York Times.
President Obama "supported [the idea] during his campaign," Lawson says, but the U.S. Treasury Department under Timothy Geithner has been resisting it.
However, Politico reported on December 3 that Pelosi is now pressuring Geithner to accept the global tax proposal. "Geithner was widely seen as opposing such a levy when it was proposed by Gordon Brown, the British prime minister, at a meeting of G-20 finance ministers last month in Scotland," the publication reported. But after a telephone conversation, "Pelosi told colleagues that the secretary indicated he was more open to some such fee than had been reported," it added.
Some elements of the Lawson plan that are designed to secure passage of the legislation seem modeled on the 1999 "Battle in Seattle," when 5,000 activists marched against the idea of global free markets, producing confrontations with police trying to keep order on the occasion of a meeting of the World Trade Organization. Lawson suggests "two or three global events" and "days of action" where "activists climb up banks" in order to pressure officials to adopt the global tax.
Joseph E. Stiglitz, a cabinet member in the Clinton Administration, claimed in his book, Globalization and Its Discontents, that the "protests at meetings of global financial leaders in Seattle, Prague, Washington, and Genoa..." had put pressure on the international community for more global action to solve the world's problems.
Stiglitz is one of several high-profile figures listed in the Lawson memo as supporting a global financial transactions tax.
In Copenhagen, where governments are now meeting on the so-called "climate change" issue, some of the same leftists have been on display, marching in the streets under the banner of "Climate Justice Action" to demand that the U.S. and other Western nations pay "reparations" and an "ecological debt" to the less developed nations. U.N. reports have put this figure at $24 - $45 trillion.
On the eve of the Copenhagen summit, French President Nicolas Sarkozy joined with Prime Minister Gordon Brown in issuing a statement calling for a global financial transactions tax and other "innovative financing mechanisms" to assist countries fighting climate change.
Other elements of the Lawson plan seem modeled on "anti-poverty" campaigns such as Live Aid and Comic Relief. Live Aid was a rock music concert held on July 13, 1985, in order to raise funds to fight global poverty, while Comic Relief was designed to use comedy and laughter to alert the public to poverty.
In terms of using celebrities and making a big splash in the media, Lawson cites the case of Richard Curtis, a film director and the "creative energy" behind the Make Poverty History campaign, which urges people to wear a white band around their wrists as a "common symbol of the global fight to end poverty."
Lawson says Curtis "is very interested in a short campaign" to press for a Financial Transaction Tax and "is working with colleagues in the advertising industry to work up ideas around a set of creative ideas that could be used by campaigns around the world, based on a Robin Hood Tax. His hope is to produce a set of materials that would be useful to all, and give the issue a huge global profile. He is also likely to use his media contacts around the world to ensure high profile for the fight for the tax."
The global targets are the G8 and G20 groups of nations because the G20 summit in Pittsburgh in September decided that the G20 would replace the G8 as the leading international body for economic matters. As numerous media organizations have observed, the move signaled a major shift in global politics that has seen the authority and power of the U.S. in global affairs undermined. President Obama went so far at the G20 meeting to agree to a proposal for an International Monetary Fund study of how a global tax could be implemented.
Oxfam, which is spearheading the campaign to get a global tax implemented, is one member of an international coalition of organizations working "to fight poverty and injustice." Its American affiliate receives funding from such entities as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation.
So-called progressives in the U.S. are now openly pressuring the Obama Administration to go along with the proposal. "We need to make this bill [the DeFazio/Harkin approach] a reality in the United States--and then take it worldwide," The Progressive magazine proclaims.
Support can also be expected from the New Rules for Global Finance coalition, which runs the gamut from typical liberal-left groups to religious-oriented organizations.
The main problem with the Lawson scenario is that the truth about massive corruption in the foreign aid business is a matter of public record.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee published a report in 1995 which revealed that the cost of foreign aid provided by the U.S. to the rest of the world since the end of World War II had already reached nearly $2 trillion, with little to show for it in terms of alleviating poverty.
Two excellent books--The Lords of Poverty by Graham Hancock, and The Road to Hell by Michael Maren--exposed massive corruption in the foreign aid business.

The JudgeRight blog has an excellent post which I might label a Conservative Libertarian perspective. Directly below is a comment I posted there.
This real good JudgeBob! The thing is though most people are not good managers of their personal affairs, hence the bondage of individual credit card debt and the inability of to budget an affordable insurance plan.
The reality is these people do need direction on how to manage their affairs. Is government the solution? I can't believe that! Government management of personal affairs is transferring debt bondage to government bondage. No matter how well intentioned government management may be designed, the individual will be lost in the bureaucracy of rules and regulations which tell an individual what is affordable or good no matter the actual need of the individual.
Hence the government managed collective becomes despotism. Not Good!
Do I have a workable solution that would make my fellow accountable responsibility Conservatives happy and placate Leftist collectivism? Dear
God in Heaven I wish I did.
In the realm of the dreamer perhaps there is a marketable service that competes to offer individual (or individual families) management services in a free market private basis that is contractual yet under government regulation to limit abuse. This would add a little culpability to the buyer beware paradigm yet keep government management off the table.
It is a little mixture of socialism and capitalism that I am certain that would make both Leftists and Conservatives unhappy at a cursory observational glance.

On Wednesday 16 December 2009, many milblogs — including This Ain’t Hell, From My Position, Blackfive, Miss Ladybug, Boston Maggie, Grim’s Hall, and those participating in the Wednesday Hero program — are going silent for the day. Some are choosing to go silent for a longer period of time.
The reason for this is two-fold. First, milblogs are facing an increasingly hostile environment from within the military. While senior leadership has embraced blogging and social media, many field grade officers and senior NCOs do not embrace the concept. From general apathy in not wanting to deal with the issue to outright hositility to it, many commands are not only failing to support such activities, but are aggressively acting against active duty milbloggers, milspouses, and others. The number of such incidents appears to be growing, with milbloggers receiving reprimands, verbal and written, not only for their activities but those of spouses and supporters.
The catalyst has been the treatment of milblogger C.J. Grisham of A Soldier’s Perspective . C.J. has earned accolades and respect, from the White House on down for his honest, and sometimes blunt, discussion of issues — particularly PTSD. In the last few months, C.J. has seen an issue with a local school taken to his command who failed to back him, and has even seen his effort to deal with PTSD, and lead his men in same by example, used against him as a part of this. Ultimately, C.J. has had to sell his blog to help raise funds for his defense in this matter.
An excellent story on the situation with C.J. can be found at Military Times. While there have been new developments, the core problem remains, and C.J. is having to raise funds to cover legal expenses to protect both his good name and his career.
One need only look at the number of blogs by active duty military in combat zones and compare it to just a few years ago to see the chilling effect that is taking place.
Milblogs have been a vital link in getting accurate news and information about the military, and military operations, to the public. They have provided vital context and analysis on issues critical to operations and to the informed electorate critical to the Republic.
On Wednesday 16 December, readers will have the chance to imagine a world without milblogs, and to do something about it. Those participating are urging their readers to contact their elected representatives in Congress, and to let their opinions be known to them and to other leaders in Washington.
Some milblogs will remain silent for several days; some just for the day. All have agreed to keep the post about the silence and C.J. at the top of their blogs until Friday 18 December.
The issues go beyond C.J., and deserve careful consideration and discussion. We hope that you will cover this event, and explore the issues that lie at the heart of the matter. Contact the milbloggers in your area or that you know, and hear the story that lies within.More info at Blackfive

Political Correctness is a path that every Westerner consciously and unconsciously has practiced nearly on a daily basis. The concept seems to know no boundaries on the political spectrum that stretches from Left to Right.
The political spectrum often determines the degree of what is politically correct. An example might be that political correctness is determined through a filter of the political spectrum. That which is politically correct seems to be determined more by what is politically incorrect.
A Right Winger might feel politically incorrect extrapolating a goal from which is outside defined rules and defined conduct. A Left Winger might feel politically incorrect forced to extrapolate a goal solely on defined rules and defined conduct rather than discovering a potentially better goal that might be formed by the “now” situation of the collective will. The Right Winger is fine with change that falls within the parameters of perceived absolutes. The Left Winger is fine with change that falls within the parameters of relative realities which is felt to constantly evolve.
The society that seems to survive is one that has achieved a balance between perceptions of the absolute and relativity. When one totally squelches the other, society tends to unravel. So it is not as important to determine which is better between absolute and relativity. Rather what is important is to recognize a balance needs to be discovered between the absolute and relativity.
I am not suited to write a philosophical treatise on the effectiveness of a society balanced in the absolute and relativity. Rather I am writing this hypothesis that drives both scientists and philosophers nuts. This hypothesis is based on gut feeling.
My gut feeling is that Western society is out of balance. As a Right Winger I am guilty of believing that relativity coupled with politically correctness is way too dominant. This kind of political correctness dilutes morality to the point that the bad and ugly far outweigh the good. This kind of political correctness blinds society into accepting practicing ideologies (secular and religious) that are inimical to the progress of Liberty and Freedom in the West. This blindness has affected leadership in the West by allowing ideologies in the name of Liberty and Freedom which actually destroy Liberty and Freedom.
A Left Winger might view this unbalance as the intrusion of the concept of the absolute resisting the evolution of the collective into a better society. I’m a Right Winger not writing a philosophical treatise so I am not going there.
There are probably a number of paths my unscientific subjectivity could lead me. I could complain of the Western ruling elites wittingly or unwittingly focused on making the faith of Christianity irrelevant furthering progress of a Left Wing utopian multicultural and diverse harmony. (Interjection: sounds like an oxymoron, does it not?) This would take me down the path of removing Christianity from the public forum in addition to including alternate lifestyles (such as homosexuality) as morally acceptable to a normal society. The thing that is on my mind at the moment is a short Bill Warner essay I read entitled, “Questions for Every Muslim”.
Warner writes about how political correctness has failed American society (by extension include the West). Political correctness places the powers that be into an uncomfortable zone when it comes to asking the correct questions to ascertain an answer beneficial to American society.
America’s Muslim minority is beginning to go Mohammed medieval in American society. There are cases of honor killings that the government and the MSM have been reluctant to label as honor killings. This denial has the potential of placing a young Christian convert (aka Muslim apostate) in danger by forcing her to live with her Muslim parents.
Homegrown terrorism has been on the rise in America which the Bush Administration had been lucky enough to nip in the bud in most instances with the public having little to no knowledge of. Notice more and more of these instances of Islamic homegrown terrorists are coming into the public eye. The MSM have been reluctant to label obvious acts of Islamic violence as associated with the teaching of Islam.
The Ft. Hood Massacre exacted by Muslim-American citizen Nidal Hasan is an example. Muslim apologists have been quick to label Hasan’s massacre as the act of a singularly disturbed man. Muslim loving Leftist (Diversity don’t you know) apologists have gone to great length to back the disturbed man profile. The more scrutiny into Hasan’s activities prior to his murder of kafir (Allahu Akbar) demonstrates he was guided by classic Islamic principles.
There are many Islamic incidents in America. The most recent was the capture of Muslim-American citizens in Pakistan looking for terrorist training to come back home seeking to follow Hasan’s path of killing non-Muslim Americans. Ultimately this is following the example of Islam’s purportedly perfect human being – Mohammed the blood thirsty prophet.
Political correctness and the Leftist misguided utopian concept of diversity actually are allowing Muslims following the example of Mohammed to plan the demise of the American Constitutional experiment. With this in mind Warner puts forth a series of questions for Muslims that he feels might pass the muster of the need for political correctness. Warner believes the questions are unintrusive as to not offend the Muslim mind yet should draw obvious conclusions to comprehend that Islam is diametrically opposed to American concepts of Liberty and Freedom.

Franklin Graham is a national evangelist that is not quite as prominent as his father Billy Graham. I say “not quite” as it is my opinion and not any scientific evidence. Franklin definitely is working his way into his father’s footsteps though.
There is one thing that does make Franklin prominent in my book though. He has taken a stand that Islam is an intolerant and evil religion. Franklin is careful to elaborate on the Christian faith to project the love of Christ for all humanity. His emphasis is that Islam teaches and promotes intolerance and acts of evil.
The distinction made by Franklin Graham is to diffuse the oft cited Muslim apologist and idiotic Leftist accusation of hate and racism. Even so this has not prevented a Leftist MSM network known as CNN to bait Franklin in an interview. Campbell Brown of CNN interviewed Franklin Graham on December 10. Here is a provocative question in that interview from Campbell Brown:
You got a lot of flak after 9/11 because you said that Islam in your view was an evil and a wicked religion. You heard the opposite from President Obama today in his speech. Was that a mistake for him to say that?
Here is Franklin Graham’s answer:
Well, the president is the president and he has to be the president of all people, of the whole nation. And we have many Muslims that live in this country. But true Islam cannot be practiced in this country. You can't beat your wife. You cannot murder your children if you think they've committed adultery or something like that, which they do practice in these other countries.
There are a few interjections between Franklin and Campbell then she asks him:
But is that all Islam means to you because there's certainly many people who, you know, define themselves as Muslim who don't practice in those extremes?
Franklin responds:
That's right, Campbell, and they would like to get out of Islam. But they cannot because –
Campbell interrupts Franklin to state:
I don't think that's true. Do you think they all want to be –
Franklin interrupts Campbell realizing the tone in her voice:
No, no. I said many of them would like to get out, but you cannot change from Islam. If you're a Muslim and you change your religion, you can be killed. Your family can kill you. They can warn you but if you don't come back, they can take your life. And that is the threat that many of these people live under Islam.
I've been working in some countries for 50 years, Campbell. And what they do to where I work in the southern Sudan where they tried to annihilate the Christians in the south, just murdered two million of them. All of this has taken place and all of it was done under the name of Islam. But there are millions of wonderful Muslim people. And I love them. I have friends that are Muslims and I work in those countries. But I don't agree with the teachings of Islam and I find it to be a very violent religion.
Well stated Franklin Graham!
However the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) disagrees with me and any sane person who reads up on Islam. CAIR defends Islam by claiming that Franklin Graham’s interview put forth “misconceptions” and “misinformation” of Mohammed’s religion. The National Executive Director of CAIR has called for a meeting between CAIR and Franklin Graham to set him strait about Islam’s true nature:
"I believe your views on Islam are unworthy of a respected religious leader and are based on misinformation and misconceptions that could be cleared up in a face-to-face meeting with representatives of the American Muslim community."
In his letter, Awad quoted the Quran, which states: "Invite (all) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for your Lord knows best who have strayed from His Path and who receive guidance." (16:125) (PR Newswire)
Of course Nihad Awad is full of taqiyyah manure. His organization known as CAIR is connected to one of the most violent Islamic terrorist organizations in the world. That terrorist organization is Hamas.
CAIR’s affiliation with Hamas is demonstration that Islam is a very violent religion thus validating Franklin Graham’s statements about Islam. The surah of the Quran quoted by Awad is undoubtedly from the Meccan portions. The Medina portions delivered by Mohammed are later in date. According to Islam the violent Medina surahs abrogate the Meccan surahs. Unlike Christianity and Judaism, Mohammedanism is a dualistic religion enabling contradictions to be very logical.
Loganswarning takes a quote from Franklin Graham’s interview to shore up CAIR’s misrepresentation of Islam. Franklin stated, “But I don't agree with the teachings of Islam and I find it to be a very violent religion.”
Here is just one example.
Reliance of the Traveller
A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law
APOSTASY FROM ISLAM
O8.1 When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed.
The beauty of this is that every day there are more and more of us and CAIR will not be able to keep up with us. Sorry CAIR, within the law your organization and Islam will lose!
The Reliance of the Traveller is not part of the Quran yet is a widely used and accepted Islamic treatise on living the way of Islam. Yet officially it is the Quran that carries the weight of absolute word of Allah to Muslims. With the Islamic theology of abrogation in mind one has to pay attention to the Medina surahs of the Quran.
Qur'an (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]...and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."
Qur'an (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."
Qur'an (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".
Qur'an (4:89) - "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks."
Qur'an (4:95) - "Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-"
Qur'an (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement"
Qur'an (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" (Source: The Religion of Peace. For more Medina surahs click the link.)
So you can see for yourself that CAIR’s Nihad Awad is the one misrepresenting Islam (as is his Muslim duty to do so to kafir) and Franklin Graham is enlightening to any non-Muslim who will pay attention.
